Examples of Racism in Society:
Present (2000-2014): Klu Klux Klan
The Klu Klux Klan is a group that is against African American people, or black people. People who were against African American people, or black people, would be a part of this group. Long ago, the Klu Klux Klan expanded into every southern state in the United States of America by 1870. Bombing were made by the Klu Klux Klan at African American schools and churches during the 1960's. Klu Klux Klan members were rarely arrested by police officers for doing violent actions against the African American people. The head, or leader, of the Klu Klux Klan would be called the Grand Cyclops. Each and every other member of the Klu Klux Klan would be called a Ghoul. Today, there are rarely any Klu Klux Klan members. Few Klu Klux Klan members are still active because the types of violence they participated in before the 1940's would be severely punished today.
My opinion is that the Klu Klux Klan is really inferior or defective. This group discriminates African American, or black people. The result of the Klu Klux Klan was that the group started to get weaker and weaker due to the better police forces. If a member from the Klu Klux Klan were to commit a crime against black people today, he would be severely punished. The Klu Klux Klan disrespects the race, way of life, and culture of the African American people. What I think is that all people of different races or cultures should be respected and welcomed by other people. People shouldn't criticize the race of other people. In addition, respecting and welcoming people of different races or cultures would make the world a better and more peaceful place. If the Klu Klux Klan were to be handled differently, then police officers would take care of the Klu Klux Klan by arresting them for killing African Americans. In conclusion, my opinion about the Klu Klux Klan is that it is really inferior and defective towards me. The Klu Klux Klan should have never been created in the first place.
